Already a trusted name in Delta area real estate, business and agriculture communities, Henry Mosco is joining forces with SmallTown Hunting Properties and Real Estate. Mosco has worked in real estate for decades in addition to farming in Bolivar County. SmallTown Hunting Properties and Real Estate – a comprehensive Real Estate Brokerage Firm – represents buying and selling of recreational, ranch and farm land, as well as residential properties.

“I’ll be the Managing Broker for the Cleveland Office of SmallTown Hunting Properties and Real Estate. Two of the realtors (Michael Oswalt and Adam Hester) in this deal have been in business for a while, and I’ve done business with them. We got together a couple of months ago and had a discussion about putting an office in Cleveland,” said Mosco. “They have something that we really like, and it will be very beneficial for people we work for and sell property for. It’s a network of a good bunch of people working together in a big area.”

SmallTown is licensed to sell real estate and hunting properties in Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Missouri. The company is also working to become licensed in Alabama and beyond.

“They are thinking outside the box, and it’s going to be a big thing,” said Mosco.

Mosco notes he’s been in the business in the old fashioned way, but “they are teaching an old dog new tricks” with social media and more.

“We are excited about it,” he said. “It will give us the opportunity to be better salespeople for our clients. We are joining forces and networking.”

The Cleveland office currently has three employees and will have two more join the team after the new year.

“We’ll be concentrating on the whole Delta,” he said.

Brett Boykin serves as Vice President of Operations for SmallTown and explained the company’s philosophy and mission.

“The Small Town Way is something that has to be experienced to be fully understood or appreciated,” said Boykin. “It’s a value-driven mindset where faith, family, work and responsibility are paramount. It’s about respecting others, and genuine goodness where you show up and give it your all, day in and day out.”

He explained the company’s way of doing business as something Delta residents know plenty about.

“The Small Town Way is calloused hands from a hard day’s work. Giving the shirt off your back for those in need. Pride in who you are and where you came from. It’s impossible to fully capture, but when you’ve experienced it, you know it. We are proud to do things the #SmallTownWay,” he said.
