Morgan Robinson and Kristen Crow opened Exceed Physical Therapy, located at 127 North Street, Suite B in Cleveland in mid-October. Dedicated to providing professional, efficient and passionate care to patients, Exceed in Cleveland is the first Delta location for the PT group, with its main headquarters located in Gulfport.
Robinson has been a physical therapist for seven years, with Crow having been a PT for a few years longer.
“My path took me into the military first, before I went to college,” said Robinson. “So, this is my seventh year in physical therapy and they have all been in outpatient therapy. But I kind of grew up in the world of physical therapy because my mom was also a PT.”
Robinson said that when you come to a physical therapist you do have to have a referral from your physician.
“You get your referral from the physician and then you can go to any PT clinic that you choose,” he said. “The patient has that option.”
Robinson said that Crow is primarily a pediatric therapist who works with children and in the school districts.
“I mainly work with adults in an outpatient setting,” he added. “Which means I can treat any type of orthopedic injury, work with total knee replacements, hip replacements, and chronic pain. Sports and back injuries are also things we work with; I have worked with Delta State athletes in the past. Also neurological disorders, such as stroke patients or spinal cord injuries. I’ve worked with patients who have balance deficits. We perform vestibular rehabilitation that helps manage dizziness and those imbalances.”
Robinson said they also work with post-surgical patients to strengthen and condition their bodies.
“Many times physicians will send patients to us for generalized therapy,” he said. “We use a lot of modalities, electrical stimulation, ultrasounds, and we’re working on doing the dry needling for our patients to improve mobility of the tissue.”
Robinson said the clinic is opened from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and patients can call 662-580-4410 for more information or email them at info@exceedtherapy.com
