New location, same cutting-edge healthcare

Southern Vascular has changed locations, but remains open for cutting-edge vascular healthcare. The new location is 802 E. Sunflower Road – in the old Taylor dentistry building.
“The staff of Southern Vascular is a close knit family that has been together, providing quality vascular care to the patients in Cleveland for over a decade! We are just in a new location! Our collaborating physicians, Dr. Jorge Salazar and Dr. Salil Joshi have opened our facility as a satellite clinic to their own clinic, 901 Vascular, in Memphis,” said Patti Honnoll, RVT.
A sonographer (ultrasound technologist) with board certifications in abdomen, vascular, OB/GYN, pediatrics, and neurosonology, Honnell said Southern Vascular is a center for vascular evaluation, offering intervention by trusted physicians and staff that serves Cleveland and the Delta community.
“Conditions we treat include peripheral arterial disease (poor circulation), venous insufficiency, and fibroids. We also offer outpatient diagnostic and elective ultrasound services via The Sonogram Specialist, LLC. We have exciting plans for additional services in our office in the future as well,” said Honnell, who earned a Bachelors in sonography from Baptist College of Health Sciences in Memphis and a Master’s in Health Science Education from Arkansas State.
In addition to Honnell, Salazar, and Joshi, the staff at Southern Vascular include Amanda Hill, FNP, and Megan Blount, client coordinator.
“We are thrilled to remain right here at home in Cleveland! Not only are we excited, we are proud to continue to offer the highest quality vascular care in this region. We are ‘keeping our footprints in the Delta’ and the gladness of our patients is evident,” said Honnell. “It is incredibly humbling when a patient walks in and their face lights up and they exclaim ‘well, here y’all are!’ There is a feeling of coming home to family in our facility and we pride ourselves on that.”
Southern Vascular staff also have a passion for Delta patients. “It thrills us to see patients’ lives change for the better as a result of the care we offer them. Quality vascular care is not something that can be assumed in the Delta, and that is what sets us apart. Honnell and her husband, Scott, a pilot, own The Sonogram Specialist, LLC, which offers outpatient ultrasound services in the Southern Vascular office.
Southern Vascular is open from 8:oo a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
