Local law firm hires new attorney
Special to The Bolivar Bullet
Hunter Webb has joined the Calderon Law Firm as an associate. His area of concentration will be in criminal defense and personal injury matters.
Webb graduated with honors from Delta State University, earning a Bachelor of Political Science degree. He then attended Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, where he graduated in the spring of 2020.
“I went to law school because I want to advocate for people, not big companies or special interests. Everyone has a right to fair and just treatment under the law, and I feel that each lawyer has a moral obligation to fight for that right, because without it, our system would crumble,” said Webb.
While in law school, Webb completed an externship at the Hinds County Public Defender’s Office, where he assisted public defense lawyers throughout all phases of representation, from interviews to trials. After earning his law degree, Webb accepted a clerkship with the Honorable Linda Coleman, where he assisted Judge Coleman as she managed dockets in Tunica, Coahoma, Quitman, and Bolivar Counties.
“I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Hunter since he interned with my office when he was in college and while he was in law school,” said Arthur Calderon, the firm’s founder. “After working with him over the years and watching him grow as a legal professional, I am proud that he’ll be joining our firm as we continue to serve our clients throughout Mississippi.”
Calderon Law is a law firm that focuses on representing Mississippians charged with crimes or who have suffered from catastrophic injuries.
