On October 22, Planters Bank in Cleveland will celebrate 25 years of service to the city and its surrounding areas. Jamie Murrell is first vice president of Marketing at Planters and said this celebration is to express Planters Bank’s appreciation for its customers.
“We want to celebrate our customers on Friday, October 22,” said Murrell. “We want to thank the Cleveland community for being so supportive of us throughout these 25 years. We are going to have giveaways, prizes, food and just a fun celebration that will last all day long. This celebration will be going on at both of our Cleveland locations from open until close, and that’s at 428 N. Davis Ave. and 130 North St. from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. This is just a way we can say thank you to the community and to our customers for all of their support throughout the years.”
Planters Bank began its journey serving Ruleville in April 1920 and today it is headquartered in Indianola. Planters has grown from one bank in the Ruleville community to 20 different locations from Southaven to Greenville and Greenwood, with many in between, including Cleveland.
