Amid growing concerns of Sparklight no longer carrying their email platform for local concerns, The Bolivar Bullet reached out to local company representatives and was referred to Phoenix, Arizona corporate headquarters.
“In recent years, many of our customers have expressed the need for a more robust email offering than what Sparklight currently provides,” said Sabrina Leon, Communications Manager/Corporate Communications for the company. “Because of this, the number of customers using our email has steadily declined. As a result, we will be discontinuing email service market by market over the next 12 months”
According to Leon, residential customers in the Cleveland area received notice their email addresses will end on October 7, 2021. To allow ample time for a successful transition, customers will receive multiple follow-up notices and reminders during the 60-day window along with helpful tips.
“Our goal is to make this process as easy and seamless as possible,” said Leon. “Residential customers can visit www.sparklight.com/emailretirement for further details, including Frequently Asked Questions, alternative email providers, and instructions for downloading emails, contacts and more. Sparklight’s Technical Care team is available for additional assistance at 888-811-6802.”
Email service for Sparklight Business customers will be discontinued effective December 15, 2021. Additional information for business customers can be found at https://business.sparklight.com/support/emailretirement.
